GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB (December 1, 2016) ANGKOR GOLD CORP. (TSXV: ANK and OTC: ANKOF) (“Angkor” or “the Company”) announced today the resignation of Mr. Aaron Triplett as Angkor’s CFO to pursue other opportunities, and the appointment of Mr. Terry Mereniuk, B.Comm., CPA, CMC, as interim CFO.

Mr. Mereniuk is currently a director of Angkor. Mr. Mereniuk has been a Director and CFO of several public and private companies. Prior to that, he owned and operated his own accounting firm. Terry obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (with distinction) from the University of Alberta in 1981. He is a Certified Management Consultant since June 1988 and a Chartered Professional Accountant since December 1983.

The Company welcomes Mr. Mereniuk to his new role and extends its thanks to Mr. Triplett for his service. His contributions to the Company have been greatly appreciated.
